  • A nice complement

    March 30, 2010

Apparently, Stephenie Meyer has a new book coming out!! It’s called The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. It’s a novel and it’s not part of the vampire saga. However, it’s related to the 3rd book (Eclipse). In that book, there’s a glimpse of a newborn (newly created vampire) named Bree. She’s supposedly the youngest newborn.

In this new book, it talks about what it’s like to be a newborn. It’s written in Bree’s perpective. I think it’s a nice complement to the 3rd book.

    Read more at:

That’s definitely something to look forward to.

    Watch out for:

$1 from each book sold will be donated to the American Red Cross.

    Telethon is on!

    January 22, 2010

The two-hour telethon is on tonight, 01/22/2010!!

HOPE FOR HAITI will be shown at 8 p.m. ET. (7 central). Networks showing the telethon are ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT. It will also be available internationally.

So who do you want to answer whe you call the Haiti telethon? George Clooney or Robert Pattinson?

I’m sure you’ve heard what happened in Haiti. It’s devastating. It breaks my heart.

There are so many ways on how you can help. Here’s one.

For folks in the U.S.A, here’s how you can donate if you want to donate to the Red Cross via text message:

From the Red Cross website: “In addition, several hundred thousand people have chosen to make a mobile donation. Donors can text “Haiti” to 90999 on their cell phone to send a $10 donation to support Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. The mobile giving effort raised more than $3 million by Thursday morning, and all money raised goes to support Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.”

    WWF Zebra Tee

    November 6, 2009

I recently noticed that WWF tees are in. It’s called WWF tees because all proceeds go to WWF (World WildLife Fund).  It’s for a good cause, you know.

Designs include panda, bear, elephant, etc. This one is a zebra. It’s really cute and it says “I earned my stripes” at the back. LOL!

    It’s less than $16 from forever21. (http://www.forever21.com/)

    Kristen was seen on it.

    H.E.L.P.

    March 12, 2009

    Who is Camilla Belle?

She’s an actress. Her movies include 10,000 B.C. and Push. She recently became the spokeperson for H.E.L.P.  It’s a non-profit organization that gives children a chance to realize their dreams.  I think they partnered with jewelry designers to sell their collections dedicated to its “What Love Means” campaign.  This will give 100% of its profits back to the children of Malawi.

Click this link to learn more about H.E.L.P and the collection: helpmalawichildren.org.

I think the price starts at $40.

    Cut that hair!!

    November 11, 2008

After a long wait, I finally cut my hair!

I donated 19 inches of hair to Locks of Love.

I have grown attached to my hair but I’m excited to donate it.

    I’ll post the photos soon.

    Beautiful Length

    August 13, 2008

People know me by my “long hair”. They refer to me as “the girl with the long hair”. Others thought it was a hair extension. My reaction was “yeah, let me fix it *while shifting my head to the left with both hands*”. Grrrr!

One of my close friends even refer to it as “pansit” (Filipino noodle).

Now that I’ve achieved my desired length, I am planning to cut it short and donate it to charity (some of the sites are listed below):http://www.beautifullengths.com

If you decide to do the same thing, make sure you do your homework in choosing a charity. I am going to choose “beautifullengths”.
