  • It sucks to get sick!

    October 19, 2009

2 weekends ago, I was healthy as a horse. I started feeling ill last Monday and still am. Augh!! I’m not sure how many trips to CVS pharmacy I need to make before I can start feeling better. Cold bothers me more than anything else though.

Not sure how I caught it, or who I got it from. None of my family was sick though (well, they are now).

    It’s not!

    August 18, 2009

I came across a profile of someone I went out with a while back (Disclaimer: It wasn’t a date. It shouldn’t count).

Two questions came into my mind: (1.) Seriously….for real? (2.) What the hell was I thinking?

    LOL!

    Clock

    December 4, 2008

It was very cold outside, but I didn’t feel it. I think, I was fuming when I left the building. It’s enough for me not to notice the cold weather outside. My work is becoming to be unbearable. It’s not the workload itself. It’s the situation. It’s about the bad decisions that people make that affect me professionally. I don’t think that I can briefly explain it to you in this post. I certainly don’t want to bore you; and I don’t want this site to be the repository of my personal frustrations. That’s not the original intention why this site was built to begin with.

I drove faster than my usual pace. There’s no “photo-enforced intersections” in the road that I took. Plus, I took the highways more so than local roads. Despite the rain/sleet, I got home fairly early. I was happy to see my family. My daughter had a surprise for us. Using her own money, she bought us early Christmas presents from school! She probably spent around $2 per person. We all stood in line and waited as she called our names. It was very thoughtful. I got a shower gel that shaped like an ice cream cone. That’s more than enough for me to forget about work.

After dinner, it’s homework time. Not too bad today. As I was tidying up a bit, my husband went outside to clear the snow out of our walkway. He was happy to tell me that sucker (snow thrower that he got using his $50 raincheck coupon) works perfectly!

I promised myself that I wasn’t going to touch that book tonight. I broke my promise, of course. I supposed my husband shouldn’t be surprised to see me holding that book again. It didn’t take long for me to start getting excited with the story. I wasn’t sure if Edward (beautiful vampire) will die if he exposes himself in the sun…..from the palace-like place with a big clock…….. in the middle of a huge crowd …………..in the busiest city in Italy. As I was trying to picture the beautiful Italy in my head, the tower clock, the elaborated architectural detail of the tower, I also wonder if Bella (love of his life) will be able to save him. Would she stay mortal? Or, maybe they will both die, then back to life as vampires. Crap! It’s 10:00 o’clock! I need to catch on my sleep. As much as I wanted to find the answers right at that moment, I dropped the book and went to sleep. I guess, I can tell you a little bit about Saga 2 (book 2 – New Moon). Nah! I don’t want to be a spoiler. Buy it and read it!
