  • It’s a known fact the book reading is quite a simple process, still, it doesn’t stop people from inventing in this domain. Japanese designer Sakura Adachi suggested combining of bookcase and reading space.

The design represents quite a comfortable place for  reading that is located right inside of the bookcase. Clever!! hehehehe!

According to the news, the First Lady Michelle Obama will decorate some of the rooms in the White House with Pottery Barn and Anthropologie!

I’ve got few pieces from these stores and their furniture are made of real wood and not of veneer material. They’re durable and they last forever.

These are reasonably priced stores. Good for her!

    Chair In

    September 4, 2008

What’s in this season? It’s a watercolor-influenced-bold-patterned chair as the ones shown below. It brings life to every room – a standout accent! It looks a like a garden. One advantage, you never have to water it!

    1. Astrid Chair from www.anthropologie.com (about $1124)

    2. Jardin Chair from www.crateandbarrel.com (around $799)

    3. Brooks Chair from www.potterybarn.com (around $879)

My mother-in-law has a similar chair style. It’s an older one but still has the good bones. It’s a part of a set. Hhmmmm, wonder if I can have that one chair…..just kidding!

It can be re-upholstered in the patterns I found from www.calicocorners.com.
