This was one of the hardest bags to get last year, and still is. To make sure you get the real deal, you can order it from Nordstrom or from Net-A-Porter, if they still have it, that is.

The leather is soft and slouchy. It is scratch resistant which you don’t usually get from other designers.  It has a signature logo-embossed padlock and a shiny key dangle from the top. The downside is that it weighs approximately 3 pounds! Yep, it’s pretty much carrying a newborn all the time.

Regardless, I really like this bag. I will get it in a heartbeat if I can afford it. Too bad I can’t. Maybe you can. Goodluck!

She impressed us with her grades so much that we could not say no when she asked us for a Juicy Couture tote. As expected, her dad ordered one from Neiman Marcus http://www.neimanmarcus.com/.

This style is called Ombre Tote in pink. It has an iconic velour that is artistically finished with ombre embroidery and cascading pompoms. Very cute!

I sometimes borrow it. No one would know it’s not mine.

It’s a swinging wristlet that can easily transform to a handbag. Bernie has it in “totally turq”. Bianca has it in “cupcakes pink”. I have it in “pink elephant”. Adorable, huh?

Mother’s Day is a special day in a year where I should be honored. Kidding. Of course, I should be honored and pampered on that day. Truthfully, I would prefer a day of peace and quiet. Translation – a day by myself, in my room with a good book. Well, it didn’t happen. I realized that I will be happier if I’ll celebrate it with my family. So we did!

In addition, I also received the following gifts. Beautiful flowers and a purse from Kate Spade. It is called “Small Annabel Renwick Street” in navy color. It’s nylon purse with a red and white strap. It has a casual look but full of functionality.

 

In my earlier post, I said that I like to have one of these purses. I guess, I’ve been a good girl. Santa gave me one!

This is a Kate Spade Mallie M Street red satchel bag. It has a shocking orangy red color. The body is made of canvas material with leather handles. The bottom part is in leather too. The size is 12.5 x 6 x 6. I got a good deal on mine. It was super cheap! I got this a while ago though.

The b*%#h has a new (well, few days old) purse!

Not just a purse. It’s a Louis Vuitton! It’s called Duomo in Damier Canvass pattern.  It has a large capacity and features a zipper closure with a padlock (must have).

I like it too! I saw it up close. I was with her. I didn’t get one, but at least she fed me with Baisi Thai! That’s good enough.  LOL!

Gottcha!  I wanted a Kate Spade (sullivan street melita) purse, and I got it!

The purse has the contrasting logo-stamped turnlock. I did not notice this until today.

Happy Mother’s Day !!!

I’m not a big fan of Kate Spade. I always thought that their design is either pretty-but-too-safe, or too-over-the-top! Let’s put it this way, I do not have an affection for pastel totes or mini polka dot purses. I go for a more classic design.

Things changed when I saw my BFF’s plum Kate Spade purse! (that’s one of her many KSPade’s). Sure enough, that caught my interest!

I checked the store 2 weeks ago and found out that they have few styles that’s really trendy. There’s this one style that completely impresses me in every way! They call it “sullivan street melita”. It’s a vertical tote. It’s made of glazed Italian leather construction in unexpected yet sophisticated tonal and two-tone combinations. I like the one in navy/cream.  It measures 12.5″h x 12.5″w x 3.9″d.

They go for $595. I believe it’s on sale for $446. I bet you can get a better deal at the outlet store.
